MAN CAMP DOGGYBAG

Doggy Bag Questions: You can and should take it with you!

Session One - “Be Strong and Courageous” (Alan Felts)

In session 1 we declared:
“You are a mighty man of God!! You have what it takes. You are a man of courage, strength and freedom. I am glad you are here!”

  1. How did it feel to have that declaration spoken over you? Do you still believe it?

  2. If you are having doubts in your current situation, what are they?

  3. Confess these doubts to God a brother and get prayer. Tell God you believe, but ask Him to help you in your unbelief. (See Mark: 9:23-25)

Session Two - “Be Wild” (David Runia)

  1. Take an account of your life. Are there areas in your life where you are struggling to believe that you have what it takes? Have the lies crept back in?

  2. What would it look like to be wild and believe you have what it takes?

Session Three - “Be(loved)” (Alex Leighton)

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” ~ Romans 12:2

It is so easy to read this verse and make it about morals, but what if it is also about auditing our relationship with God? Use the following questions to help renew your mind and adopt the perspective of the Father.

  1. What do I think God thinks of me right now?

  2. Are these things in accordance with his will? Do they match up with the following scriptures?

Jeremiah 29:11, Matthew 10:29-31, Romans 8:28-29, 1 Peter 2:9 , Ephesians 2:10, Deuteronomy 31:8, John 4:14.

Session Four - “Be Good and Dangerous” (Bryce Maurer)

At the end of session four, we were encouraged to name some men we can rely on for accountability and support in our walk with the Lord. This is SO important to take home and apply throughout the year. It can be easy to let these relationships ebb or to skim over struggles when we check in. Use these few questions throughout the year to reflect on the status of these relationships.

  1. When was the last time you checked in with the people you named at the end of session 4?

  2. Have you taken steps to be authentic, known, and vulnerable?

  3. How were THEY doing?
